Metricore Insulation Pty Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• When you ask for a quote through our website: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the type of property, the service you're interested in and anything you write in your message.
• When you call, text or email us: your contact details and what you tell us about your job.
• When we do a job for you: the property address and the details we need to quote, schedule, invoice and complete the work.

This website has no user accounts and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange and carry out work, send invoices, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We don't sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Web3Forms delivers messages from our quote form to our inbox.
• Google Workspace provides our business email.
• Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.
• Our accountant, suppliers or contractors, where needed to complete your job or meet legal obligations.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use reputable providers that protect personal information.

Chat assistant

Suvela, the chat assistant on this website, is an automated AI assistant, not a person. It answers questions about our services and, if you choose to share them, passes your details to our team so we can follow up.

• What it collects: what you write in the chat, including any name, phone number, email, suburb or job details you choose to share, and the page you were on.
• Writing replies: your messages are sent to Anthropic, whose Claude AI model writes the replies. Anthropic processes them only to provide this service and doesn't use them to train its models.
• Following up: if you share your contact details, a summary and a copy of the chat are emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service.
• Running it: the assistant is provided by our web developer, Suvel Webverse, and runs on Cloudflare. Chats are kept in your browser for the current visit only and aren't stored on the server.

Please don't share card numbers, banking details or passwords in the chat. These services are based outside Australia, mainly in the United States.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records).

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email info@metricoreinsulation.com.au and we'll respond within 30 days.
